Timber Haven Lodge

These Cabins are small and cozy, they are being newly renovated as well. My family came up and stayed with the Timber Haven Lodge over Christmas and we had a blast. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be staying with them again in the future!

Stayed over the weekend. Was so clean and tidy. Felt homey. Lovely Kitchen. Felt like home. Would stay here soon again.

Place was amazing! We will absolutely be back. Staff was awesome!!! Cabin had a nice cozy home atmosphere. Next time I will probably book for enough beds for everyone because the couch bed was very uncomfortable, my husband chose to sleep on the carpet floor instead. Which is the reason for 4* and not 5*. I've read recent post where people mentioned the cabins were falling apart or needed remodeling or more upkeep bit I saw no problems at ALL. My one and only pet peeve was we couldn't book a hot tub room because my 5 almost 6 year old. That was his one request "to have hot bubbly water time with mommy and daddy". We settled for the hot tub in the middle of the site which was great, just a long way to walk, dripping wet in 40° weather. But all in all we will be back. Already trying to plan our next trip!

Amazingly nice owners who go the extra mile. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Landscaping is awesome! Easy check in and out. Was allowed to check in earlier since we arrived too early. Great free breakfast choices (fruit, cereal, milk, OJ, bagels..etc.) The room also included cable TV with plenty of channels options. Wifi is also included and it works well. Gas fireplace was awesome but being summer it was too warm for use. Only minutes from the village and many restaurants and attractions. Really loved this place and would highly recommend it. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great stay!!!

Best place to stay in big Bear. There's a full kitchen and everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Fiancé & I stayed in room #3. The room is very warm , clean, & cozy. It's close to everything. Karen (the owner) was really helpful. We went on a snowy day. We're from San Diego, but due to road conditions, it took us 6 hours to arrive. We got there way passed the office hours (11pm). But she willingly waited for us. They offer free continental breakfast & that's with free coffee, cereals, milk, juice, mini muffins, & assorted danish (store bought). They have a fully loaded kitchen so just go grocery shopping for food if you'd like a warm breakfast. Overall, we had a lovely stay & will definitely be back.

A nice, quiet, and totally amazing place to stay. The representative-Ray was very kind, experienced and helpful. We stayed there 1 night but definitely will come back. A very reasonable price for a day or more stay. Ray was very accommodating and understanding, checking all the appliances.The place itself is very clean, next to a wooded area about half a mile away from the main road. At night, it was quiet and incredibly relaxing. They have heat which we didn’t use as the blanket was very warm and cozy. They do have a fully stacked kitchen, so all you need to bring is a few groceries if cooking in is what you want. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family and I will definitely be returning here on my next visit to Big Bear! Thank you, Ray.

Our stay at Timber Haven Lodge was awesome! The property is in a quiet location, yet close enough to everything you need. Room was clean and comfortable, and the owners were some of the nicest people. Wife loved the bathtub, and the breakfast was great! We will visit again and would recommend to anyone!
